A Creative Badass, Not an Imposter

Hi guys,

I wasn't sure how I wanted to start the week, but it's on a high.
I got a new bed and mattress (it's been a while), and it's amazing just how much that simple thing can change a perspective.

As a Neurospicy and Creative business owner, I often suffer from Imposter Syndrome.

Comparing myself to others is a really bad trait of mine.

You see, I can’t settle on just being a Candlemaker. I'm a Creative Badass, and sometimes I want to make something just because I can, not because I need to.
I’m no Picasso, but I do paint like a three-year-old. Something he said he attained to. In his later life, he just painted. To me, he is the King of Abstract.

Finding out something that gives you pleasure and being able to do it full-time means you will never really feel like you are working.

I am 55 soon, and I play with clay, wax and paint as a job, and I don't need to be an imposter when I can just be me.

This week I've finished a baggy cardigan.  Sorted moulds out and realised no matter what, I'm not an Imposter, I am me.

This is my Journey to me, and that's everything I can be

Love and Light

Amanda
